ITALIAN NATIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY INSTITUTE - INPS

INPS is one of the biggest European social security institute, with a balance sheet second only to the State in terms of total assets. INPS manages almost all pensions in Italy, including both public and private employees and self-employed. INPS has been founded over 100 years ago (in 1898) with the aim of insuring the risks of Italians connected to oldeness, disability and death. INPS has gained a special role in the Italian welfare system, manages unemployment services (i.e., unemployment subsidies) and assistance services (i.e., permanente disability income, inclusion income).
